When considering a campground, consider your budget. Get a wide variety of rate quotes, from national state parks to military parks to privately owned RV and tent camp sites. Before making reservations, be sure to get brochures and a contract in writing. If you live near the campground, visit the campsite to ensure cleanliness and helpfulness of staff. Most campgrounds allow visitors to park RV vehicles, trailers, campers, popups, fifth wheel items, small and large campers on campsites. When people are on the road in their RVs, recreational vehicles or campers, they often look for campgrounds where they can spend the night. When people want to go camping in places they can legally camp, they also head for campgrounds. Some campgrounds are located in cities and cater to people who are traveling in an RV or a camper.
